SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
Michael “Mickey” Ley joined BBS as an associate after
graduating from the University of Colorado Law School in 2011. While in
law school, Mickey was an associate editor of the University of Colorado
Law Review and successfully handled family law and Social Security
Disability cases while working as a student attorney in the Civil
Practice Clinic.
Prior to joining BBS, Mickey
interned for the United States Attorney’s Office in Denver, focusing on
criminal prosecution and civil defense. He also clerked for a boutique
law firm in Boulder, focusing on commercial contract drafting and tax
litigation. Now at BBS, Mickey concentrates his practice on insurance,
commercial, and civil litigation.
